1: 1 – ROMANIAN LANGUAGE CLASS FOR CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS (1-2 students)

 

The ONE TO ONE program is suitable for busy people or learners with particular language requirements, for those who feel more comfortable in a smaller circle.
The advantage of such a course is flexibility in terms of schedule and course programs tailored to the needs of the learner.
The courses for children and teenagers, in addition to the theoretical study of grammar concepts, are experiential courses with an important component of personal development and self-knowledge.
The courses are interactive, adapted to each person’s profile, and aim to develop creativity, emotional intelligence and communication. The children will love the Romanian language, they will meet Romanians from various fields, invited to their courses, they will learn about the spirit and culture of a country and integrate this into their general culture, while also finding personal purpose in this process.
In order to achieve the work objectives (familiarization with the specific sounds of the Romanian language, supporting a positive attitude towards the learning content, developing effective learning habits, creating a work identity), the selected activities are: listening, active reading and deep reading, games role play, free discussions, creative themes between work sessions, games with vocabulary elements and grammar elements on various educational platforms.
Each module includes 3 thematic meetings, where we will focus on free, relaxed conversations and discussions on various topics chosen together.
The focus is on communication and the four key language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, fun and informal and students are encouraged to express themselves.
The children will learn about Romanian personalities, about famous cities, about traditional customs, as in a story.
After completing a module, you can continue to the next level.
The course is aimed at children aged between 4-18 years.
Working groups include 1-2 children, selected according to age.
 
Module: 5 months
The course is supported through the ZOOM app and online work platforms, with native Romanian speaking teachers.
Weekly meetings include:
  • practical communication exercises in Romanian/dialogues (expressions/formulas of address);
  • vocabulary exercises;
  • grammatical structures;
  • reading/listening and understanding some literary and non-literary texts;
  • general culture information expressed/learned in Romanian.
At the end of each session they will receive a work assignment* with topics from the previous class. Assignments will be online, checked in specially created applications.
*Homework is optional.
At the end of each module we will present a portfolio of the creative themes received monthly.
During the course, we aim to:
  • supporting learners to further explore their areas of interest;
  • stimulating curiosity and asking questions;
  • encouraging participants to express themselves freely and openly verbally and/or in writing;
  • practicing patience, empathy and listening to others;
  • challenging students to give free rein to their creativity through the assignments they receive.
The subscription for individual online lessons is paid in advance, in a maximum of 2 installments, for the first module. You can continue as long as you want until you feel confident that you have met your Romanian language learning goals.

If you cannot attend a session according to the calendar, please let us know 24 hours in advance.
If cancellations are not made with 24 hours advance notice, the scheduled session will be considered completed.
