ROMANIAN LANGUAGE CLASS FOR CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS (6-8 students)
Courses for children and teenagers, in addition to theoretical knowledge of grammar, are experiential courses, with an important component of personal development and self-knowledge.
The courses are interactive, adapted to the profile of each group and aim to develop creativity, emotional intelligence and communication skills. The children will love the Romanian language, will know Romanians from various fields, will be invited to their classes, will learn about the spirit and culture of a country and will integrate this in their general culture, while finding their personal purpose in this process.
In order to achieve the work objectives (familiarization with the sounds specific to the Romanian language, maintaining a positive attitude towards the learning content, developing effective learning habits, creating a working identity for each group), the selected activities are: listening, active reading and deep reading, role-playing games, free discussions, creative topics between work sessions, games with vocabulary elements and grammar elements on various educational platforms.
The focus is on communication and the four key language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, fun and informal, and students are encouraged to express themselves and make new friends.
In working in groups, the Romanian language becomes an instrument of self-knowledge as well as adaptation.
Children will learn about Romanian personalities, about famous cities, about traditional customs, as in a story.
After completing a module, you can proceed to the next level.
The course is aimed at children aged 4-18, divided into age groups and level of knowledge. The working groups include 6-8 children.
The course lasts 1h30’/1h, 1 x week
Module: 5 months
Weekly meetings contain:
- practical communication exercises in Romanian / dialogues (expressions / addressing formulas);
- vocabulary exercises;
- grammatical structures;
- reading / listening and understanding literary and non-literary stories;
At the end of each session they will receive a topic of work * with topics from the previous class. The homeworks will be online, checked in specially created applications.
* Homeworks are optional.
At the end of each module, we will present a portfolio of creative works received monthly.
In the classes, we aim to:
- supporting students to further explore their areas of interest;
- stimulating curiosity and asking questions;
- encouraging participants to express themselves freely and openly verbally and / or in writing;
- exercising patience, empathy and listening to others;
- challenging students to unleash creativity through the topics received.

Meetings not held in a month are not carried over, they are lost or can be recovered with other groups (if there are groups of the same level at that time).
